Does the internet / email cause people to develop A-D-D Attention Deficit Disorder?

I know people that check their email at night when they wake up to go to the bathroom. I also know people who check their email 100 times a day or tweet all day long. Is this causing people to get A-D-D?

I think this question must go to another category. Or to a doctor :)

Whatever it is called, mails/internet can suck up much of your time, so be careful to not go into extreme.
