I had LD and my biggest stumbling block was taking tests and exams.I always flunked no matter how hard I studied.
I was just told to study harder. Could it have been I had ADD>

A learning disability actually disables you from learning, most likely when people get learning disabilities they are born with it. Attention deficit disorder means that you get distracted really easily which disables you to learn.

I don’t do good on tests either :(

Attention defict disorder is when a person can’t focus 100% on something (They are easily distracted).

A learning disability is when a person require a harder effort to learn something, they can easily focus but takes more time to learn.

      Simple as that.

It’s certainly possible that you have ADD. If you were diagnosed as LD, then part of your screening to diagnose you as having a learning disability probably including screening to determine if you had ADD, so I’m guessing probably not.
ADD is, as the name implies, a deficit or deficiency in attention which results in a difficulty in focusing on and completing tasks and assignments. It doesn’t necessarily make you twitchy or at least no more so than a normal person. People may have a hyperactivity component which, in addition to making it difficult to pay attention, makes it difficult to sit still.
